Paula Gooder
Paula Gooder is a renowned speaker and writer on the Bible, with a particular focus on the New Testament. Her career began with twelve years in ministerial education, initially teaching at Ripon College Cuddesdon, Oxford, and later at the Queen’s Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education in Birmingham. After this, she spent about eight years traveling across the country as a speaker and writer in biblical studies, dedicated to making biblical scholarship accessible to a wider audience. She then served as Theologian in Residence at the Bible Society for six years, followed by her role as Director of Mission Learning and Development for the Birmingham Diocese. Paula now holds the position of Chancellor at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
